Study isolates climate change in Europe's shrinking bumblebee habitat
Using factual and counterfactual scenarios for 1901–2019, researchers attribute part of the decline in suitable European bumblebee habitat to climate change, finding reductions of about 5% on average and up to 19% locally, with high-altitude gains only partly offsetting losses.
